R.E.M.

R.E.M. was an American rock band formed in 1980. Known for their alternative rock sound and introspective lyrics, the band achieved significant success in the 1980s and 1990s. R.E.M.'s hits include 'Losing My Religion,' 'Everybody Hurts,' and 'Man on the Moon.' They were at the forefront of the indie rock movement.
