Think Expo 2020 Dubai cannot get anymore exciting? Superstar singer Alicia Keys is going to perform at Al Wasl Plaza in December – and she is releasing a new double album, to boot.

The 15-time Grammy Award winner is taking to the stage at Expo on Friday December 10 as the first international artist to perform as part of Expo 2020 Dubai’s Infinite Nights series in a “phygital” show experience. It is a very special moment for Expo and Keys because it celebrates her 20 years of sensational music in a one-night-only gig at Al Wasl Plaza.

The concert will feature new arrangements of Keys’ biggest hits, of which there are many. Additionally, fans will get to hear new music from her milestone double album. The American singer has countless hits since her debut album, Songs in a Minor, was released in 2001, including “Fallin’”, “Girl on Fire”, “Empire State of Mind” and “If I Ain’t Got You”.

As previously mentioned, the mega-talented singer will “unlock” her new double album, Keys, at the same time she hits the stage at Expo in Dubai. The “Originals” (side A) of the new studio album is all about Keys’ iconic piano playing while “Unlocked” (side B) is a more upbeat sound that’s a celebration of love and life.

The singer said of the forthcoming Expo performance: “Performing in Expo 2020 Dubai’s Infinite Nights series is going to be such an incredible experience! I’m so excited to share such a beautifully unique and special performance on the eve of the release of my new album ‘Keys’ with the world.

‘Keys’ is all about letting go of anything that holds you back and breaking through the invisible ceilings above us! It perfectly reflects Expo’s values. I cannot wait to unlock this new universe with you.”

This is definitely a concert to be seen in person and to listen to Keys’ incredible voice fill Al Wasl Plaza, which has the world’s largest 360-degree projection dome.
